Welcome to HEARt Hachie
Waxahachie's Music Friendly Community Initiative
HEARt Hachie is the official music engagement program of the City of Waxahachie, developed under the guidelines of the Texas Music Office’s Music Friendly Community Program. This statewide initiative, led by the Office of the Governor, is designed to foster music industry growth at the local level by strengthening partnerships between cities and their creative sectors.
As a designated Music Friendly Community, Waxahachie is committed to supporting local musicians, venues, producers, educators, and industry professionals through resource development, performance opportunities, strategic promotion, and regional collaboration.
The purpose of HEARt Hachie is to identify and amplify the talent rooted in Waxahachie, connect artists with civic and cultural resources, and build a sustainable music ecosystem that benefits both creators and the broader community.
