Join real paranormal investigators with high tech paranormal equipment on a ghost hunt inside the haunted 1902 Chautauqua Auditorium.
This is not just another haunted history walk or ghost tour. Haunted Hachie is led by real paranormal investigators who have been actively investigating since 2008 and have been featured on the A&E Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, and in print publications such as Texas Highways Magazine.
By day, your guide Sandy Emmons serves as the historian and administrator of the Ellis County Museum. By night, she combines Waxahachie’s haunted history with professional paranormal investigation techniques to create a unique experience for both beginning ghost hunters and seasoned investigators. Andy Don Emmons, Erin Powell, and Ian Powell are often investigators that facilitate the tours.
Your evening begins at the historic 1902 Waxahachie Chautauqua Auditorium, the only one left standing in Texas , and the second oldest Chautauqua building in the country, where you will check in, learn a brief history of the town, and view compelling evidence captured at the Chautauqua. We will then do a real paranormal investigation of the building led by your investigators using all of our professional equipment. Group participation is encouraged. There will also be time alotted for a "free roam" investigation for guests who are paranormal investigators themselves. Guests are encouraged to take photos and videos, and you are welcome to bring your own equipment. We also feature & provide cutting‑edge paranormal tools for you to use throughout the night.
This paranormal tour is where you become the ghost hunter, using professional equipment to seek out the unexplained.
