Waxahachie Community Theatre is a hidden gem, tucked away in our beautiful and historic town. Celebrating their 45th season this year, WCT has been actively producing and presenting family friendly theatrical and musical events in Ellis County, Texas since 1979, using local volunteer talent and working to advance education and interest in theatrical arts. WCT has four more productions this season, including “The SpongeBob Musical” in the spring, the summer children’s show: “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley,” the fall musical: “Bye, Bye, Birdie,” and their holiday show in December: “Happy Hollandaise!” Auditions for most shows are open to the public, furthering WCT’s mission to educate, enrich, and entertain.
