Schedule of Events

Tuesday, July 3 Activities:

The patriotic celebration will begin on Tuesday, July 3, at 5 p.m. with a Tailgate Party at the Waxahachie Sports Complex (151 Broadhead Rd.). Madness Entertainment will entertain the crowd before the concert and teach moves to some of the newest dance craze songs.

This year, guests will enjoy a FREE concert with Memphis Soul (DFW's leading Motown band) at 7:30 pm. Following the concert will be the spectacular H-E-B fireworks display at 9 p.m.

The Kid Zone offers an assortment of FREE activities for the children to enjoy. There will also be a variety of food vendors for families to purchase from in the Food Court including a few new selections.

Spectators are encouraged to tune their radio to KBEC 1390 during the fireworks show for a special broadcast of patriotic music. Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are allowed at the Waxahachie Sports Complex; however, personal fireworks are prohibited.

Wednesday, July 4 Activities:

On July 4, the celebration will continue at 10 a.m. with a hometown parade sponsored by CNB of Texas. The 4th of July parade will start at College Street, head west on Main Street and end in Getzendaner Park.
